"There is one way of breathing that is shameful and constricted. Then, there’s another way: a breath of love that takes you all the way to infinity."
Rumi
"As long as there is breath in the body, there is life. When breath departs, so too does life. Therefore, regulate the breath"
Hatha Yoga Pradipika
“When you inhale, you are taking the strength from God. When you exhale, it represents the service you are giving to the world. ”
B.K.S. Iyengar
I have listened to breathing always in the under water while diving. When the divers felt hard breathing, it's because their exhalation was not enough deeply, or because of the breathe rapidly. Taking the air but not enough to give out from lungs, so it's hard.
One day a yoga student told me, she is feeling hard breathing in some poses.
She was trying to flow the energy, while breathing into the correct part of body. It seemed flowing, but a part of her body blocked the flow of energy when she exhaled. She had not released what she took on inhalation.
I remember Reiki. We are there as just a straw of unconditional love to let the energy passes.
The energy seems like the wind or the water. When we didn't make the blocked point which makes puressure, the wind or the water can flow on their natural way.
The wind and the water flow to low from high. So, we don't need to give it back to the point it came. Just releasing and letting it goes to where it wants to be. Then new pure energy comes into us again.
It's not only about breathing, but also anything as it's the energy that we live with.
We can feel freedom and comfortable when keeping the balance between "taking" and "releasing", also when we have no pressure on the way for the energy. It's the important to release, then we get(take) new one naturally and unconsciously.
When we can't do it easily, Why don't we try to exhale deeply and slowly? Simply releasing from inside. Hahaha.
The pure energy is keeping to flow in our life (^_-)-☆
